What we offer
If you have any used sharps or needles we can dispose of these for you if you bring them to us safely in a yellow sharps bin. If you do not have a yellow sharps bin we can provide you with one free of charge. When you bring a full one back to us, we will replace the sharps bin free of charge, every time.
You do not need to get a prescription to have a sharps bin, and there is no longer a need for a waste contractor to call at your home.
If another NHS provider has supplied you with a sharps bin you can still return sharps bin to us (of any size), but we can only supply you with yellow sharps bins in sizes 1 litre, 1.8 litres, 4 litre or 5 litre sizes.
Please note that we do not provide a "needle exchange" service, but you are free to return used needles for disposal as long as they are sealed within a sharps bin.
